How are points earned?
- Earning points depends on eligibility and the game being played. See the Challenge Cards in your app or check out this article for more details.
- You can also earn points by referring a teammate using the "Refer a Teammate" QR code in the app.
Where can I view points I have earned?
- Team members can manage points and rewards within the Gratia App.
How is a point worth?
- 10 points = $1.00
Do points expire?
- Points expire one year after they’re awarded, but you can save (bank) them to use in future quarters.
- It is the team member’s responsibility to track and redeem points before expiration. You’ll receive text reminders when your points are close to expiring. If you need to update your mobile number to receive these alerts, please contact Gratia Support at support@gratiahealth.com.
My points don’t look correct. What should I do?
- You can live chat with a Gratia Support agent between 8 AM CT to 6 PM CT Monday through Friday excluding holidays.
- To chat with an agent, click the icon on the bottom right of your screen.

Can I redeem more than one Reward at a time?
- You can redeem multiple gift or cash cards at a time.
How many gift cards can I redeem at one time?
- You can only purchase up to 3 gift cards in one transaction. If you wish to purchase more than 3, simply start a new transaction.
Can I earn rewards if I’m not signed up for the app?
- All eligible employees will be required to have created a Gratia account AND redeem their rewards exclusively within the Gratia App. Team members must login to the app to access and redeem any and all points.
Are gift cards taxed?
- All rewards are treated as taxable income. The value each reward you redeem is considered part of the employee’s compensation and is subject to federal income tax as well as applicable state, and local income taxes. Taxes will be taken out through the employee’s paycheck. The app will alert you to any tax liability prior to all reward redemptions.
What happens if I don’t redeem my gift card reward?
- Most gift cards don’t have an expiration date. To confirm whether your reward link has an expiration date, consult the text where you received the link.
- Visa and Mastercard Prepaid cards have expiration dates 7 months after receiving the link. Any remaining balance on the card at the time of expiration will be forfeited.
What happens if I misplace my link to redeem my rewards?
- If you misplace your redemption link, go to the Orders section from your app main menu to view all previous gift card redemptions.
- If you still cannot locate it, reach out to support at support@gratiahealth.com or start a chat with a live agent in the bottom right corner of the page.
- Agents will be able to reshare the link and code with you.
Can I exchange my gift card once I've confirmed my order and already received the link?
- No, rewards (pay differential or gift cards) cannot be cancelled or exchanged. Employees need to confirm upon checkout that rewards are non-refundable.
Can I redeem points after I've left the company?
- Yes, you have 30 days after terminating employment to access the app and redeem points. After 30 days, your account and points will be deactivated.
